IMHO I think volume leads price i.e. when volume comes in bidding up or down, the supply is taken out and has to move to adjust to demand sorry to make it sound so basic, but that is how I see it. So if you see capitulation volume, know that price is gonna start moving and fast

Tops take much longer to form than bottoms. It's almost as if they have to get rid of all shorts before the drop can come. Probably comes from the market taking out stops on the upside until they are exhausted, then free-fall fast and furious. Too many people expecting a top, so expect a long...

depends on which markets you are talking about. futures and traded stock options are zero sum. Equities are not, as they can be awarded to directors/insiders etc who have "paid nothing" for them, but sell them on to the next guy.

This feels like a top right here, waiting for trading to confirm as soon as next week opens. World markets are also at tops, India, China, S America etc. Will be similar to May 2006 i reckon
