Just an observation. Your idea to download the older version is only a temporary fix for the problem. You can currently use either ButtonTrader or ZeroLine Trader as a front end with IB. Both are good. Then your problem is solved...you don't have to use an older version. OldTrader

I would say they're comparable in terms of speed. I had them side by side and couldn't tell the difference. But Zeroline does have a 30 day free trial. Give it a shot. You can try it in simulator mode to get used to it. OldTrader
