Yeah back to bearish again now in my opinion. Wish I had just left my shorts in place now really, but because the 4 hours was oversold I thought a switch to long was a good idea. I don't think I will go long again until there is a change in the longer term trend already.

Seems like a nice bounce is starting off of the weekly SPX halfway back

Yeah. Looking at things now, I would be surprised if the SPX can gap close here. The futures have dropped quite a bit more than I would have expected since I made that post.

Weekly SPX does still just look like a bullish pull back. NQ and ES charts look bearish, but oversold on hourly and 4 hourly now. So long does make some sense to me right now.

Yeah I keep a small float in the account and just use that to open positions. As soon as I close profits down, I take the excess out.

Thanks. I basically take out all the profits whenever they come. That way I don't feel the temptation to risk the lot. I would have gone bust ages ago for sure if I ever started doing that.

Thanks for asking. First year was epic. 2nd year flat, mainly because I was trying to move to higher timeframes and wasn't successful. I seem to be much better at hourly time frames so I will think about moving back to them again soon.

I am trying to use longer time frames for entry and shorter time frames for my stops. But its not as easy as it sounds. I have ended up using shorter time frames to take profits and longer time frames for my stops.

Buy1Sell2 is trading a very different time frame to most people on here. With the much higher time frames you have to leave more money on the table before a change in direction is realized.

I am no pro. I just think that Apple makes up such a big % of the indices that its kind of beyond news. Its worth keeping an eye on.

Apple is only down a tiny bit really. Its AMZN that's really interesting for me. I have never seen AMZN get below its trend line before. That could really impact the indices.

That will be an interesting one to watch. Right now is the first time AMZN has breached its long term trend going all the way back from 2015.

That's exactly why I said "if chips cant be made in China". They will need to be made somewhere else and cost more. My view is that this will cause inflation to get even crazier than it is already.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

This is why I don't think a pivot will happen. But I'm fine being wrong. It would undermine all of the previous efforts to lower inflation. Also, if chips cant be made in China, and inflation goes crazy. Then are Apple really going to still keep making money if iPhones reach $6000?

Personally, when I post in here, I am looking for people to challenge my views. If everyone agreed with me all the time then I would be getting no value from any conversations. How people word their challenges or disagreements doesn't concern me. Different cultures influence how messages are...
