Here comes the question: what is your decision based on? Any analysis? Analysis of what? Or just experience or so-called feeling?

    Does Technical Trading Really Work?

Agree. That is why I believe trading is more than trading itself. You have to fight against your greed and always remain calm. Meanwhile, we need to do lots of homework to prepare for whatever would happen.

    Does Technical Trading Really Work?

Ditto. It's much more useful to discuss about a specific trading strategy, analysis of a firm's performance or comparison of different platforms and prop firms.

Really appreciate your sharing. Luckily, I haven't traded with either Title or WTS. Otherwise, I don't how much I would lose.

    New IB account

IB is small? Are u kidding me? But it's true that they are expensive. That is why many of my friends prefer to trade with some smaller firms with much lower charges.

A friend of mine asked this question but I thought it wise to seek more answers

So the fee is based on each hand, not on share volume? But $5 each hand seems not suitable for active prop trader.

A friend of mine asked this question but I thought it wise to seek more answers

May I ask a question? If he puts money on stocks for 5 years, he only has to pay commission once, right? $5-$10 in commission would only be charged when he first buys those stocks?

IB is going to start charging a daily exposure fee

I am now with a Hong Kong based broker, which has a history over 40 years. But I am not sure whether they accept any single prop trader. But you can try to contact them if you want.

IB is going to start charging a daily exposure fee

Agree. IB is not recommended for active prop traders. There are many better alternatives.
