I have DirecWay satellite ISP and I've traded with it for years (IB). But my trading systems are automated and mostly just fire in limit orders. I sometimes update as many as a couple thousand symbols, but I just snapshot them every minute or so. And usually I have to only handle less than...

I got nailed on a few SFCC trades last year. Did okay on some, but got crushed on others. Too dam volatile for me... :(

JMHO but you are giving up too much profit by not trading options with IB. OX and TOS may be options "specialists" but the IB commission structure is superior, fills are great, and the TWS is a fine options trading platform - and getting better all the time. For the independent retail...

Closed my short Jan06 15 puts. Made about 50% of the max profit with 3 weeks left. I've been burned way too many times trying to squeeze out the last drop of profits.... Good trading to all! :cool:

Absolutely true. Anybody monitoring the network with simple packet sniffing software can grab everything to/from your machine. Even another guest can do this. I always dial in directly to my backup ISP to access my account info. Even that makes me nervous, but I have a hardware key so...
