Unless those strikes are wrong then it looks like you're facing a max loss on the call side. Rolling in this case is just basically opening a new trade - make sure this new trade will be a position that you actually want, not a position you opened because you were chasing or minimising losses...

I am based in the land down under otherwise known as Australia. The ASX has just released a memo saying they are changing the size of their option contracts from 1000 shares per contract down to 100 shares per contract My question relates to the options brokerage rates charged in the USA...

Thanks for the expanded explanation, shorting stock in my account isn't practical so I'll just have to go busking on the street to build up some free cash reserves :)

At the moment I enjoy trading credit call, credit put, iron condors, iron flys and credit diagonal spreads. I just wanted to expand the amount of spreads that were available for me to trade.

I should've made it a little clearer - my example is for an account with stock only - no cash. So I can't go and do debit strategies with my account as the cupboard is bare, but I can do credit strategies and lodge stock to cover the margin required
