    AMZN earnings prediction..

If it falls I highly doubt it will rebound. When a stock is this overinflated and misses earnings, they will drop and won't stop dropping.

    AAPL new target $205

Munster stressed that his figure is based on the ability of Apple to sell 45 million iPhones in 2009. What the fuck? Unless the price of the iphone gets cut, a lot (which means much less profit), they're not selling 45 million iphones in 2009.

Question regarding bankruptcy of public companies

Sure it is Daal, if you're the ONLY shareholder, you own 100% of the company. An entity can't own itself, someone has to be the owner of it. And in reality, as the company repurchases it's shares (provided the company's stable and profitable), every share that's purchased makes all the...

Harry potter was not much help to online retailers

It was the retailers' choice to sell the book at cost. The LIST PRICE is $35, and they sell it for $18. Nobody forced them to carry the book, and nobody forced them to sell it at a loss. All the retailers used it as a chance to do a promotion.

Why can't US citizens trade foreign equity or index options?

I guess the SEC wants people to keep their money in the US, so we can get screwed by our own fraudulent shit (REITs and subprime bonds anyone?)

Harry potter was not much help to online retailers

The artist (or writer in this case) made tons of money off this book. The publisher made tons of money off this book. The only losers are the retailers.

Greenwich is an expensive place to live..

Financing the car would definitely cost more, and either way, the place I'm renting is a 1 bedroom. If you want to live w/ a roommate, you have to pay more for a larger living space. Just for the sake of argument, 1 bedroom = 1700, 2 bedroom = 2400 (divided by 2 = 1200 per person), so you'd be...
