The financial system is teetering because of a huge unsustainable debt bubble run up during Greenspans watch. The govt is now desperately trying to keep the bubble from collapsing into deflation which can only be done with more debt. Rock, meet hard place.

Liquidations and deleveraging seems to be going on big time. What's the bottom? SAC fund blows up?

The triangle/H&S from 2000 projects below zero. Not sure how that could happen. Maybe you have use a log chart or something. Anyway it'll be interesting to watch the 19/17 area if it gets there. Small H&S break around 19 should take out big H&S around 17.

Actually it could get there with a PE around 11 at current earnings. Current PE 14. Could happen.

He's down about $5MM today. There's a weekly H&S from 2006 that could project down to around 15 if it breaks. Also, a huge monthly H&S/triangle from 2000 that projects even lower if it breaks around 17. If those thing actually work... Ouch.

What's the catalyst for up? Doesn't look like that many shorts but the data is old.

Some of these stocks are reaching their 200 WEEK ma's. MEE 20% of float traded today down 20%. 3X avg vol. If these thing bounce their going to scream.

Or it could be the new iPodPhoneMac thingy sucked.

wonder what the correlation between energy/commodity stocks against the $ is now. xle and xlb look like they are trading -1 right now. Why even bother with stocks or commodities the govts are so involved might as well just trade the $ pairs.
