I dont really get what you are trying to get at as what i said is exactly right. Maybe in america you call it differently But in the uk when we talk about trading something that trades in 0.5 increments that is called a half tick movement and then after that its moved a full tick no one uses...

I havent really changed to much, mainly work a 5 full fat tick stop. The one thing i have really changed is i am adding a lot more aggressively to winning trades to take the most that i can out of it and constantly re adjusting the stop along the way to lock in profit
