Def, I think I have the same question as Wet. It seems that those people who do not daytrade but have less than 25K in their accounts will also be restricted to 3 trades in every 5 days (even though they are not daytraders). This seems cotrary to the spirit and letter of the SEC ruling. Thanks.

The IB statement seems to imply that ALL under $25K accounts will be restricted to three trades in any 5 day period. However, the SEC SRO clearly states that such restriction is only to be placed on Pattern Daytraders (ie. in and out the same day). How does this change affect those who have...

I have recently started trading stocks and options. It appears to me that by the time I get the news of the downgrade, the markets have already more than discounted the new info. I would really appreciate if some experienced traders would recommend some of the better financial newsfeeds...
