ATVI release of Call of Duty 5

I haven't played a video game in 30 years since dumping quarters into Zaxxon in 1980. I was in Best Buy last month and wanted a game for my PC and bought a copy of Call of Duty 4 $49.99. Pretty cool game. It was a lot of fun and a great game. It was exciting and fun playing through the game...

The economic impact of the current Exodus from the United States.

Obama is going to open the door for all the worlds poor. It's a solid voting base for him. Plus he will give citizenship to the 12 million or so illegals already in this country. He'll make sure the illegals aren't being exploited by american businees. He'll make sure they get health care and a...

What a freaky market, about ready to go insane

I was tired of the choppiness so I sat on an ES Buy@ 935 , I almost closed it and sold as the support was getting tested but somehow I manged to stick until the final push and sold @955. I'd rather have bigger swings and bigger volatility than the smaller choppiness which is a pain. It is...

    Interactive Brokers Mobile Trader

IF E-trade and Ameritrade can make it work IB should also. I guess they just don't care. E-trade uses Blackberry Ameritrade uses I-phone. Right now You can't pick a smart phone because it may or may not work and IB gives you no guidance as to phones. IB needs to cut a deal with one of...

Roubini - it ain't over yet.

I agree. It could be a looooooooooong one. But No one knows for sure. If we didn'tg have all the crap and problems out there we could have had a short shallow recession. I can't see how we get out of this fast. Not much light at the end of the tunnel. Such a tight credit environment is...

Roubini - it ain't over yet.

I only have a BA in economics so I'll defer to Roubini. I think he is correct. The economic environment is terrible for the next 2-3 qtrs. At best it will only be another 2-3 qtrs but that is highly unlikely. With all the problems out there this recession will go a minimum 24 months .

How Do We Nail the Bottom?

No this isn't the bottom and a turn. This is the ebb and flow of fear and greed in a bear market. When fear momentarily subsides greed rushes back in in the form of knife catchers who think they are going to miss out. We are in a bear market and we will remain in a bear market until there is...

Is it possible to be both a scalper and an intraday position trader?

Why not let your profits run? I took 70 points on one trade yesterday 4 es contracts. I saw no need to buy and sell and sell and buy when a trend is in my favor. If things get dicey/questionable on a chart and a trend reversal might happen I may close a trade and watch to reenter it but other...

    Stocks aren't cheap yet.

Projected future earnings are commonly used in fundamental analysis to value stock prices. A common mistake by unsophisticated investors is to make an assumption a stock/co is cheap because the stock price has come down. This is not necessarily true. Just because a stock was $90 once and now...

    Stocks aren't cheap yet.

EXACTLY. Thank you. The fundamentals are eroding and P/E's that might look cheap will be pressured as earnings contract.

You are surely the king of internet blabbering. Do you still write those long winded posts on BBWC? How much time do you spend typing up all that blabbering? Also what do you gain by it? I didn't read any of it.
