super volatile markets i prefer trading spreads on what and beans right now or trading or covered calls. they dont make me sweat as much:) although i did sell some naked calls a long time ago and im geting a tad nervous lol

you are correct sir margins are cheaper on spreads than outrights (recognized spreads) for list go to cbot or kcbot.com mge.com as well

i make a living trading spreads, with a little real estate on the side (not much right now lol) grain spreads are very liquid, and there is such value in them right now. if anyone ever has any ? email me and I will give my humble oinion.

i agree with young trader, but proflogic was very right and i think the charets are looking kinda bullish for both march nad july but just wait my friends export season is starting very soon, until then happy trading. and look to bear spread july march when it hits -1.50 that is one hell of a trade

im not sure if this is the right forum for this, but what the hell. Im looking at selling some out of the money calls on wheat, it is highly unlikely they will hit. I guess my question is on selling out of the money calls and puts, what are the risks?? Chances are they will just expire worthless...

Looking at fundamentals and technicals I see July and March Chi wheat both about to take a hit. (heavey export competition, huge winter wheat crop etc etc) I guess my question is which do you think will take the lead in "losing" which will outpace the other.

i sell real estate, short sales can work but they are a pain in the fucking ass. Half the time no one doing the transaction (myself included) is versed enough to walk through the miles and miles of fucking paperwork there is.

after smashing their previous high of wheat holding 2.50 cent premium to dec corn and getting all the way to 5.60 the spread has now resumed "normalcy" to 3.71. any experienced ag traders like this spread at this level??
