Are you using the ECBOT or are your orders going to the floor? Limit orders in the front months (and I assume you were buying SK7) on the ECBOT are pretty good, very little slippage in my experience... In the further back months it can be a bit spottier. SPreads are wider, but not by too much...

When I first started trading, I remember someone told me about a price correlation between SP and Dow...something on the order of 1:10.. When the SP rises 1 pt, the Dow should rise roughly 10 and vice versa.....or something to that effect.. Anyone know anything about this or is it just...

Why do you think a one day decline will 'force' the market to cut rates (which is not really the way it works), when an 8 month rally didn't force the Fed to raise?

Hey Fully... The basis for the trade is seasonal and technical. I think we will see a breakout to the upside in this consolidative triangle. I think the deferred hogs will have a big upside move this summer. Of course, I could be wrong. Below is a chart... As for the currencies, they...
