Scalping: Is this consider a qualilty method of trading?
means can you be consistently profitable scalping the answer is a definitive "Yes". If quality means the optimal method of trading I think it has a lot to do with the traders personality, experience, and capitalization. My own point of view is that scalping is a hard way to grind out a living... -

I day traded more than double the equivalent of 100 ES. Now day trading 20 ES tires me out. Make hay while the sun shines boys, you won't have the constitution for it forever(at least most don't). I will trade anything that looks good (currently have positions in YG,AZ, and NQ). Usually hold days or weeks, very rarely months. That is unless I get stopped out which happens very quickly if I am wrong (sometimes the same day or within a day or two max.) -
