I really should start using Limit orders. 1 trade today: shorted SWN early. +$1.50, so break even, basically. Again, not happy with myself. Will try to be more disciplined and use Limit orders. I just can't seem to pull the trigger otherwise!

Sounds like I have the same problem...in a more pronounced form. You constantly stay green, despite your little issues here and there - that's what impresses me the most. I try not get shaken up by a bad loss here and there, but it's tough work. Very tough. I'll see you in chat tomorrow...

+$35 Only traded MOS (one 300 share lot). Showed signs of a good shorting oportunity at $40.05, entered at $40 even, exited shortly after at 39.83. I need to trade a lot more. I am hesitating too much and missing terrific oportunities. At work, so no blotter.

Oh, and I have to admit - nice setup! I have a slow desktop and a fast laptop and the way they are set up in my room, I have to constanly move my head. I need a fast desktop with 3 monitors instead. Laptop could act as a backup, just in case.

Why do you think that is? It's normally the case for me, a very inexperienced trader. I wonder what might be causing it? I know, I am personally easily rattled - like today, when I failed to set the Stops properly and lost and then just went for a random trade at the end of the day and lost...
