I'm the same as newt. If I click on a topic like "Trading", I can see the ratings. But if you simply look at the home page or click "Forums", the ratings don't appear as you look down the page. I have never looked at a rating to make a determination as to whether I will read a thread or not.

Oddly enough this thread has one vote too.

I see AAPL hitting $265 before there is a reasonable chance for an extended pullback, and even then it is probably one of the highest risk trades you can take. Why do it? A successful trader finds high probability opportunities to make money, shorting AAPL is the opposite of that.
