I, too wish that there was a way to enter a time order to close out (or open) a position at 3:45. If I'm short ES on a bad day, it is my favorite time to cover as this is the time some traders are being sold out of their positions. DEF, it is worth the trouble for IB to find a way. Thank you.

Whatever the rally, the question is what happens next. I believe that it will present a healthy entry for a short position. In the meantime, shorting "good war news" has been a better proposition than buying "bad war news." At least this weak.

If you have multiple contracts, scale out your stops. I like to use .5 increments in the S&P on the .25 and .75. In addition, I use the OCA order to link a stop with a limit. Better luck.
