Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

This is good stuff. The neutrality of your words here is great.

    NQ - Supply & Demand

Good stuff thanks. Not to get too caught up in the drawing of lines but if there is price rejection the prices of interest would be higher than the lowest point of the rejection? As in the difference from where you drew your TC vs. mine?

Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

So dropping below 50 were you SLAing into a short? When you say whatever happened between 50 and 3600 was of no particular interest, do you mean that it's basically follow the SLA rules under 50? If a long opp was available so be it or would a long to you been more justified closer to 3600...

Ghost of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

Trying to think of how to ask this question. First I'll say I had interest in 60, 40, 00 and 2580 today. I know I didn't posted it beforehand and 2580 was obvious from the TC but anyway...with regards to AMT at what point during the day do you begin to feel more and more confident that a...

    NQ - Supply & Demand

What would you suggest I do to keep it as simple as possible?

    NQ - Supply & Demand

Hey DB what do you think about this as a hindsight observation that could have helped in the trading day I posted from the 15min chart? If for example the 15min chart I posted was all one had to go by could a trend channel be started between 14, 54, and 22? Thinking this could have given me...

    NQ - Supply & Demand

Something I also found interesting that I wanted to add was the behavior of price at 2842.50 at 9:37 or so. 2842.50 was the price at which the demand line was being upheld. Price would come down to that point and rapidly move away and it did that quite a few times, don't remember how many, but...

    NQ - Supply & Demand

After 12 hours of study and replay yesterday I decided to just have some fun today and see what happens with the concepts and theory that I have learned. First I will post the context of what I was looking at. This was the info I was working with and based a plan off of just that. Attached is...

    NQ - Supply & Demand

As posted by DB: "So who's got the upper hand? Who's in charge? It's generally believed -- why I don't know, gurus and books probably -- that when price falls, sellers have the upper hand. When price rises, buyers do. But it is the exact opposite that is the case. Traders are looking for...

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

Well the reason for my feelings from today was after the initial long bar up the second bar after the long bar rejected lower prices but immediately after the 3rd bar rejects higher prices, makes a lower high, and the following few bars remained near the low of the second bar only moving up...

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

After the open I could feel that price did not want to go higher and was going to drop. That "feeling" is that a good thing or something that should be avoided? Not that I felt any emotion towards it, just more intuitive. Could that lead to problems because I've been getting that a lot lately.

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

Bars 6-10 I see a rejection of lower prices then price retraces relatively 50% showing strength as trades are being found at higher prices. Moving to bars at 20 I see another rejection of prices making an even higher low.

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

Ahhh I see I see. Good stuff. I have noticed that if like in your example we don't get a signal in the opposite direction and price gets to around the 50% mark it usually leads to a continuation, even more so when that 50% area is rejected.

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

I guess I meant when entering the market not so much buying vs. selling as I understand there needs to be a buy and a sell. If entering as a buyer waiting for the downwave. Isn't that the point of waiting for the retracement etc? As per the action you described above I feel as if I noticed...

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

So bars 21, 22,23 sellers lower their asking price in order to find buyers and they do find buyers at higher prices than bar 18 showing a sign of strength since sellers are now able to find trades at higher than previous prices. I know the point of observation is not to look for entries etc...

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

Or is it when I sell the high I become a buyer. I sold to enter but now I am looking to buy? Sorry for all the questions.

    Trading Price:Phase One:Observation

Ok my dad owns a grocery store....So what I gather from this line is that if milk prices are dropping it's a buyers market because the sellers of milk have to drop the price of milk until buyers want to buy. I get that in terms of goods and what not, but if I sell the high of the NQ and sellers...
