what should I do?? (another n00b question)...

I know that I will be losing money, and like everything else in life you have to pay a hefty price to pursue your dream. If I go at it alone with my own saved up capital etc, I would hope that I would be successful in a year but I will prepare myself so that I could handle 2 or more years...

what should I do?? (another n00b question)...

again... thank you funky for your post, I really appreciate it. I do understand that if I don't make any profits, that I will be losing money. But I want to get started now or within 6 months or so is because the market is about surge back up and I know that that chances for me to succeed...

what should I do?? (another n00b question)...

thanks for your post proptr8r. I don't intend to fail, therefore I don't need a "quality job in the industry". Having a back up plan for me or for anyone else is an unintended tilt towards failure.

what should I do?? (another n00b question)...

should I take the try to work for the Prop. Firm route? or the work at a minimum wage (or not much higher) place for a year or two and save ~50,000 (I know you would say its impossible, but it is possible for me to save that much on minimum wage in two years.) and get in the game? If I take...

By the end of this year (2003), I will graduate from an undergraduate institution with an Economics degree. I know for 100%(nothing less or nothing more) that I want to be and that I will be a day trader forever. I have 0 experience in day trading, but I traded with Online Brokerage Houses...

    How important is Computer Programming...

(sorry, this is a n00b thread) I am not much of a mathematical person, but I want to be a day trader. So here is the dilemma, I have heard that Comp. Programming is important if I wanted to efficiently develop mechanical systems etc. So I want to take one or two computer science...

I am really in need of Some Advice...

2 more questions. 1. Would the Bright Trading's Norfolk office or for that matter, any office at a smaller city when compared to NY, LA, Miami etc be smaller and lacking in training materials? 2. How would I go about establishing a Track Record to make it easier for a firm to hire me...

Thats sounds real good. I def. will be checking it out. I am in the Triangle (Ral-Dur-Chapel Hill) and I don't think it is that long of a commute. I was either thinking about taking myself either to, NY (big city in east coast) or LA (big city in west coast) or Atlanta. But...

I am really in need of Some Advice...

yeah guys.. Prop Firm seems like the best place to start. Although for me, I could easily make $30,000/yr doing odd jobs after taxes and expenses if I move back home after college and get 2 jobs. Work at Wal-Mart Supercenter and at Best Buy and pull out ~80 hour work weeks. I will be...

I am really in need of Some Advice...

Oh god, I wish I could ask so many questions at once, but I can't. If I do the Prop. Firm route, I will just be graduated and I will have no significant amount of Capital at the beginning. (<$ 2000). Althought I will be doing the Prop. Firm route, do you think I should work some and get...
