Well said. I don't have a programming background or 20 hours to spend figuring it out, but there are a few software development companies that make a living just writing EFS stuff for traders... its the easy way out, but costs more $$$.
You pretty much nailed all the main differences. The biggest advantage (by far) is the easy language feature of tradestation. For the most part, the advantages of esignal are easy to use and cost effective. There is a 3rd option that some of my traders use called the navigator. I am not very...
I highly recommend trade-ideas.... especially for the price. I am sure you could also get a free trial from them as well.
Does anyone have a link to insite filters?
In the last two years, Spike has completely changed hands. I trade there now and it is run by a couple of big floor traders and a stock trader from NY. They do stock prop. (with cap. up) and futures retail (both with training). In my limited experience, Spike has been very straight forward...
you have a better chance as a floor reporter than working at McDonalds on Jackson St. But, it is not the ideal job for working your way up the ladder. Try Monster.com for prop. trading jobs, there are plenty in Chicago.
Good luck.
Another Echo branch in Chicago has a posting on Monster, run by a trader named Chad. I highly recommend them. They are a stand up branch of a stand up firm.
Good luck.
YES.... exactly what I wanted.
I find that my "need to know news" has been helpful for releases or auctions or fed speeches when the websites I use do not include this info.
good trading.
i have looked on briefing.......forexnews...........fxstreet and do not see anything.

Nasdaq has intended to assign market makers (i.e. GSCO, MLCO, etc.) for a while, and now have found the way to do it. I have no issues with you, I just thought schelpers post had no value.
