    Doesn't anyone remember 2000?

Thanks, I just wanted another opinion in case I was off my rocker more than usual. LOL ;) It seems quite obvious that as USD value sinks it won't go as far as it did before, including in the market.

windows vista ... yes or no

Get the XP pro disc. Even if you didn't need it it's worth the few bucks to have. I'm going to format (3rd time going back) and go back to xp as vista is still a big buggy for me and some trading software spazzes out on it.

Taking 76K to 500K by Year End

Sorry to hear of the bad week. Are you doing things radically different from when you were smashing it out the park? I'd say maybe look back to what was working unless the market has shifted bad enough to negate your strategy.

how to win today (fri) through Tech analysis...can you?

Good old supply and demand. There never was enough buying pressure to go green for long, though you could have scalped a few long a swing down or scalps down were the safest bet all day. :)

    Doesn't anyone remember 2000?

When the USD is worth less, dosen't it take more of that USD to move the same share? I know the market isn't logical so that's why I'm asking for clarificatation. Seems to me as the USD goes down, the market would go up until people fail to see the value and than tank from the selling pressure...

    Price/Volume Relationship

Nice post...its all about supply and demand. The volume combined with candles can show that better than anything. I still have lots to learn but this much I'm glad I know. ;)

TRIN or TICK...the HUGE Question...very serious and important..please read!!

If you're not seasoned I'd stay away from the ES. It's more fluid but the fills with the deeper DOM could lead to slippage IMO. Pros run the ES and it's hard to go from street ball to the NFL in one swoop. ;) At $5 per tick I am new and use the YM. It fits my small risk tolerance though it...

    Ninja trader charts?

Very nice, I didn't know they had the buy/sell volume yet. Thanks

TRIN or TICK...the HUGE Question...very serious and important..please read!!

Only focus on one thing if you think the market always does the same thing. (HINT, it dosen't) Reality is it dosen't and you'll end up losing faith on day 2 when the market shifts gears on you. You need to really be aware of the whole picture and focus mainly on price action and volume...

Why scalping beats any other trading style

Thanks for the feedback. I'm gonna give volume charts a try at EOD here since we finally broke the tight rangebound BORING action. :)

Why scalping beats any other trading style

I'll use 144 tick in a rangebound day for the YM. How do you find the volume different compared to the tick, big difference?

Why scalping beats any other trading style

Interesting, I'm gonna have to check that out too. Any tips on some general frames of volume you use? Thanks

Why scalping beats any other trading style

I use tick charts if its rangebound chop. If trending I use 1 or sometimes the 5 minute chart. At times I do mix it up depending on action but those are my main timeframes I use.

Why scalping beats any other trading style

LOL. If I didn't have issues to work out at 11 months into the market I'd be very very worried. ;) But Jack has made the markets all so clear for ET and the world perhaps I could dominate the market after 11 months of mentoring with him. What could be conveyed in 1 paragraph he takes a...

Why scalping beats any other trading style

In case I failed to mention...my trading style is more scalping though I will hold for a short term daytrade if the range is there. It's all about what the market will give more than what I want.

Why scalping beats any other trading style

Pretty fair assesment. :) On the blowout I just mean people with small equity maxing out leverage going for the gusto. You swing for the fences and miss your gonna recoil and get hurt no matter how tight you think your stops are. Like you said, if your entry sucks you either need HUGE...

Why scalping beats any other trading style

You are so wrong. I didn't fail, I succeeded. Know how, I'll let you guess. Still unsure of how? I got you to keep 1 single post below 10,000 characters. :D And I don't need an e-board users approval to know I'm doing quite well and on the right...

Why scalping beats any other trading style

I'll look into that thread. I'm open to any clear and concise conversation on anything. I have no patience for long winded anything. It's just how I live my life, I'm a no BS kinda guy and like it short and to the point. :) I can only speak on what I see on the DOM and that's alot of baiting...

Why scalping beats any other trading style

I agree. DOM/traditional Level 2 are manipulated in my experiences. Just seems to be lots of noise that the tape won't show. Focus on the chart for support and resistance and the tape for the true buying and selling pressure as well as short term support and resistance. JMHO

Why scalping beats any other trading style

Well there can only be 2 answers...YES or NO. ;) I can't decide which, but what I do know is our options are below... 1) He dosen't know crap and is actually an English major that likes to hear himself talk at great lengths. 2) He is profitable and is trying to make everything more...
