    NatGas market... the "widow maker"

In one case, it was leveraged longs... before the market tanked... a multi-month collapse in price.... into which they kept averaging down. In the other it was highly leveraged naked calls before an "out of the blue", one week spike in price. The first one was in the news... a high profile...

Amazon to sell cars online, starting with Hyundai

Wonder how much the price will fall if dealer middle-man is cut out of the equation?

    NatGas market... the "widow maker"

Highly volatile. Large gains fast if you can nail it. Cut to ribbons if you try and miss. (I know of 2 big players who got wiped out in NatGas market... one on the long side, the other on the short side. Not a market for amateurs.) Good Luck. FWIW...

Walmart, Costco and other companies rethink self-checkout

Costco near me originally had self check out but discontinued. They said it was because of "too much theft".

Not "Trading Software"... rather general info on W10

I recently tried to do a "W10 refresh" on my v1909 machines . Used to be, W10 users could "select their version" for refresh. Not the case now. Apparently MSFT has discontinued support for all versions prior to the current... which is v22H2. Meaning... you can't "refresh your version if it is...

Bought a fancy new Dell and it sucks

Perhaps your fault for not listening to Scatty. I've advocated the Precision line of Dell for both desktop and mobile workstations. If you try to "go cheaper", you get what you get. (I had a couple of Dell "el-cheapos" 10+ years back... but I never recommended them nor bought another.) Dell...

How do you Avoid Chop without missing the break (intraday)?

When a trader "tries to avoid chop", he misses many opportunities. When a trader "tries to trade chop", he likely takes too many losses (hopefully small ones)... and because of that also likely to miss opportunities. Bottom Line... When chop is identified, (1) either stand aside until chop...

    Al Brooks Net Worth

You mean... "Buy Support.. Sell Resistance.. Chase Breakouts... THAT TA? Where have you heard that before (lie a million times....)?

    MAs.. usefulness comes and goes

May not be correct. SP has respected 4216 as support and (so far) 4243 as resistance. (Breaks are valuable info just as are holds.)

    MAs.. usefulness comes and goes

Ditto. I illustrated the 50, 100, 200 MAs because those are the most commonly followed. However over any particular time, one can try different periods to see if one fits better than others.

    MAs.. usefulness comes and goes

50MA... up until late Feb market was simply below the downsloping line and was meaning only "negative tone" to the market. 1. Late Feb, tested @ 91.52 and acted as support. 2. Through Mar it sort-of acted as support and resistance in a sloppy fashion. 3. ~Apr 10, support... and then 5...

    MAs.. usefulness comes and goes

Opinion is divided about the usefulness of MAs. Fact is, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. They can be useful to traders who understand when they do and when they don't. (Continue on next entry as editing blocks my view...)

    More Support and Resitance

Not all the indices line up together at the same time. Should be aware of where the market is "in general"... SP, Dow, NDX, NYA. Question is... "are the markets going to hold or break support/resistance?" (A single index doesn't necessarily determine that. One index may break but another...

    More Support and Resitance

This the SPX, of course. The chart is of a small area because it's the ONLY thing that matters right now for Price TA traders. Blue = 50MA Red = 200MA GL

    technical analysis

The notion of "long term" when it applies to "market psycho" means nothing. All "long term" breaks down into a succession of "short terms".

    technical analysis

Geez. I hate to hurt your feelings.. but you are so far off the track that I don't know where to begin. Fundamental Analysis... is for BIG players who intend to hold plays for a long time and who are willing to "ride out" whatever negatives until their perception of the play is recognized...

    technical analysis

You are free to consider anything you choose. However, the market expresses its "net psychology" in the price chart... that's Technical Analysis. Get right with TA* and you'll never go wrong... (Unless you screw up, of course...:)) Price TA.. KISS, baby! * Suggest not listening to the "TA...
