Very wrong. New highs coming. The 4th Wave just completed itself in an A-B-C-D-E pattern. This targets the 1485 level on the SPX over the next 3-6 weeks. See attached chart.

Yesterday’s action rallied through resistance levels testing the upward targets. The close at 1428.82 level fell short of signaling a retest of 1440 highs rendered last week. A close above the 1432.80 would be necessary to signal such an event. Today is the close for the Month and should...

Slower growth? Once again you show that you have NO IDEA what you are doing. 3.5% GDP growth was faster than the anticipated 3.0% For all of 2006, GDP was 3.4%. Not too bad after all of the "Doom & Gloom" forecasts of a recession due to oil prices spiking to $70 per barrel.

And of course, setting up such an IGNORE function would cancel out literally ALL of the webhits that ET generates from the posts in the Trading Forum. If you are an owner of a website, "hits" are everything. If you don't have them, then you have nothing to show to potential advertisers...

You obviously don't do any sector trading. The ENERGY SECTOR and DEFENSE SECTOR has been anything but FLAT!!! My advise: Stop looking at the overall indexes and look at individual sectors.

I'm still LONG the market, but now with a STOP at 1419 on the SPX ( 40 day MA ). Under 1419 and the bull case disappears for me.

Stock bottomed last Thursday for a nice oversold bounce. Earnings out tomorrow morning. Stock running to the upside nicely today!

SPX gets to live another day as the ENERGY SECTOR surges on the $3 rally in crude and it's weighting in the S&P is significant enough to keep things rolling on the upside. The rotation game continues. Am still bullish until the 40 day MA gets taken out, now coming thru around 1419.
