Agreed, and this will catch many by surprise who have bought into the historical pattern of year 3 being the strongest term of a Presidency. Interesting juncture here that only a few on ET are aware of. :)

Yesterday, we hit the 1440.57 level which was the initial target for this sequence ( see previous posts ). There is a 60% probability that the market has reached the peark of this "B" wave. The support today is at the 1435.45 level. Should this level be penetrated a decline to the 1432.65...

It's quite obvious from the postings on this website that NO ONE on ET trades "technically". If they did, they would have noticed that the S&P futures got above a key pivot at 1442.00 If they did, many of these moves in the SPX would not be all that shocking, or as some wish to do on here...

Interesting . . . Not one single post by a "technician" that gives reference to market internals. Instead, it is the usual ET stuff about "housing, Iran, China, oil prices, inflation, blah, blah, blah, blah . . ." and a bunch of other generalized media drivel. Does anyone actually TRADE...

Why would you believe some stupid little indicator from the National Association of Realtors as being the "catalyst" for a 5 point move in the SPX? It's called APRIL. The market wanted to go up regardless. Deal with it.

Market tracking as expected. Should see another 2 days of upside and targets of SPX 1440.65 / 1444.45 :)

I shorted VLO last week. It is breaking down below the 10 day MA today. :D

An unexpected rise in pending home sales. National Association of Realtors said pending home sales rolse 0.7% in February to 109.3 following a revised 4.2% drop in January.

And guess what? VLO is breaking down below the 10 day MA and has already taken out all of last week's lows except for Monday. Ka-Ching! :D

Excellent insight, especially the points about what kind of a software trading platform you are on, and whether or not you your platform is fast and stable during volatile market periods. And this is coming from someone that was a stock-index floor trader trading my own money during every day...
