AMR Capital...been around since '99, well capitalized and great talent. They still have the insight platform.

What's the value add at these places? Cheap deals? Is that it?

Look at AMR Capital. Those guys are solid. Been around since '99, clear through Goldman and don't require money up. I've been with them for 4 years and very happy. Value add type of place and they still have the Insight / Whisper software.

How can you hold Carlin responsible? This guy was making deals on ski slopes and in his house. Was Carlin's compliance dep't supposed to follow the guy home and spend weekends with him? It's unfortunate that these people lost money, but they should be a little wiser when investing money...
