My absolute stop would probably be right below the 47 area. As I monitor the volume, I can see that it isnt as good as I had hoped it would be at this point of the day. I usually have a few different types of stops depending on the where in the cycle we are. here is a thread with a...

I thought in order for this thread to work out(which I wanted), we needed your participation. A place where we could nicely share ideas with a common goal to better our trading. This looks like a tall order.

For stops, I use the prior cycle of the stock that looks similiar to the one I am entering on. I can usually find similiarities in the way the stock moves.

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

If you read this thread, you would probably notice that this is an ES thread. Your questions have been answered in Spydertraders journal and would be more beneficial if you asked them there. here is some help , do a search for what you are looking for. It is there...

LUFK was interesting because it was a lagger. MIND and GRP were taking off and I noticed LUFK had the necessary volume without the accompanying price appreciation. It took a few days later before it reached the level of money velocity of MIND and GRP. I think it would be a great idea if I...

You must take trades that make sense to you in order to learn. The goal is to gather the necessary education, skills, and experience while haveing a positive EQ. Spyder provides this and is really enabling a lot of people. I am realizing that me spouting off whats going up is not...

    Question for Grob/Hershey...

The IT looks like a new R to L traverse of the Long Term channel. It may be easier to see the LT on the nasdaq.

    Believe in yourself

Thankyou Jack for the attachment and especially the post above. It seems you hit the nail on the head again. You logically show why and how belief is of lower consideration in trading and showed the real process necessary to succeed. I must admit that after reading your post, it made...

REDF looks like it may be making another cycle up. It may be intersting to see if it follows the same sequence of events we saw on Dec 06 of last year(sounds funny).

I am very happy for missing a trade due to what I feel based on prior experiences. Their are stocks like LSS that break out every week and a lot of them at that. Plenty of opportunity to make lots of money. Whats their to be sorry about?

Your right that the majority of people have a predictive mentality over an anticipation mentality. Most often though, the majority is wrong. All these 2006 predictions are soo funny. Also, this mentality that I have has yielded an extraoridnary return compared to typical returns per...

I agree. But if you are lookng for 10%, the first 3% makes no differnece. I am not here to predict which stock is going to go up. I just monitor and go with the flow. I may still enter depending how the day unfolds.
