99% of OTM options buyers do not intend to own the stock, they are more interested in trading the options only. If you think the underlying will rise further in the future you could consider selling your current position if it's ATM/ITM and buy some call OTM options. :)

Options are too volatile to be considered an asset suitable to borrow against. Your alleged ITM option position could easily be OTM the next day. :)

Extended trading hours is beneficial for Option traders. The gaps on the underlying can be very profitable. :)

The ET forums offer LIVE feedback. Creating threads and the replies are posted in real-time with an ET time-stamp. :)

Keep in mind that oldnemesis's threads are just trade IDEAS and not actual trades. oldnemesis has never updated a thread with the final results - which IMO is vital. Trade entry is only 10% of the battle, the other 90% is how it progresses to exit. Without final trade results you end up back...

The best venue for a trading discussion is the ET forums, forget about the Chat room. Start a thread (or participate in a thread) using a descriptive title in the appropriate forum and you will get results. :)

Low volatility or high volatility Credit Spreads and Debit Spreads suck. Go with long positions only. :)

There is also a lesson to learn from the opposite trade of his IC - don't buy debit spreads, go with long positions only. The short leg is like having an anchor attached to your trade. Based on the OP's quotes the 150p/155p and 225c/230c OTM debit spreads would have cost about $100.00 and made...

Perhaps you could post an actual example with number of SPY shares, option strikes/expiry and the respective bid/ask. Once you go through that I'm sure it won't look so good. When it comes to hedging it's best to SELL if you own and BUY if you want it. :)

I think Baron has mentioned before that you can't change that setting because it puts too much load on the server when more than 5 posts is displayed. :)
