Insider Trading isn't as much of a problem as the media portrays it to be. It's next to impossible to predict how a stock will react to news. For every successful "inside trader" there are many more "inside traders" holding the bag - ending up with worthless options. :)

These are Long Straddles I assume. IMO ........ Straddles are too expensive and I would go with either a Call or Put. One exception: QQQ ATM weekly straddle/strangle entered on Thursday - the day before expiry. :)

I would consider: SPY at $209.90. SPY target by May 31, 2016 minus 10% = $190.00. Buy 50 contracts June 17, 2016 200.00 Puts at $1.96. Debit $10,000. Expected reward $50,000 (P/L plus $40,000). :)

Makes no sense. Doesn't an MM have to provided a market for about 10 contracts? A motivated buyer (as in this case) would Buy at the Ask - he wouldn't waste his time trying to buy at the bid. :)

If the buyer was motivated why not go for 10+ contracts with a Market Order? Or a Limit Order well above the Ask for 10+ contracts ( my broker will fill it at that price or better). Only 2 or 3 contracts at a time doesn't seem very motivated to me. :)

What was the weekly OTM put Volume like on Thursday? Any spike of Volume should have been a Red Flag. :)
