The IDEA Cycle of Universal Progress :)

I think it is fair to say that you are freaking everybody out on this board with your nonsense posts. Who cares what you "used to post" about some obscure bong smoke theory. Frankly, it is starting to get old.

    Something incredible !

Faut arreter la coco Harry, arreter ca veut pas dire utiliser du crack a la place. This guy's on crack. If it isn't the rather obscure syntax he uses, it is his desire to post every bit of crap one can and will find on the Internet. I think the number of posts bearing his name suffices to...

    Risk management in today's market

"Stop losses are for sissies", if the market doesn't move much in the first place, maybe you ought to raise your efficiency per trade and loosen your stop loss. What I mean is that you might get bigger losers but you might get more winners and your risk/reward could remain at 3. Good luck.

    NeoTicker/Wealth-Lab/MetaStock

WL3 is going to be in debugging mode for a while, at least that's what I think as I'm developping a system that is very similar to WL and we're having a great deal of trouble making things work together in a streamlined and intelligent way.

    Street Smarts by LBR

I agree with Ditch, most of the setups have lost efficiency and a lot of the stuff in the book is common sense. I disagree on a lot of points made as well. The price tag is way too high for that book.

    This blows BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey buddy, trading is all about timing. Whether or not it went your way a few days later is not the point, the point is: you have to make the right decision at the right time and be able to sustain a loss if you're wrong. (money management) Sorry you had to learn it the hard way, that's...

    Trading ODD LOTS

How are odd lots filled usually? For example: I want to trade 156 shares of such and such. How does that trade affect my fill? Will I get a slower fill? Will I get a higher slippage on a market order? Should I stick with 100 - 200 - 1000 share lots?

    Correlation...

Well, I think you could figure out if that correlation is true by digging out the three volumes of Schwager's work on trader's interviews and find out who was a top athlete. I think the sample size is fairly decent. You will find out that most weren't into sports all that much and that Seykota...

They may have the discipline but trading is not just discipline. Finding an edge requires some hard earned experiences and statistical knowledge. Some of the most successful minds have failed in this business and you sure need discipline to get through a highly competitive PhD program...

    European traders, Roll Call !!!

Granted, Australia is a nice place but it's kinda remote. It's not like you can take a short vacation to the Alps, or to London or to NYC for the week end :) Southern France is a really nice place, and a lot closer to everything.

    European traders, Roll Call !!!

Not in France right now, rather in the eye of the storm in NYC but have lived a very long time in France and count on going back to trade if I find fiscal arrangements. France is one expensive country.

54% return -- looking for an internship

On Marketocracy, I was number one of my FIN456 class with returns of 120% for 4 months. Marketocracy is a joke, I got beat out by two guys that had found a glitch in the system, they had real time feeds and there was a lag between the delayed quote and the real time that enable trading with...
