You said that your style of trading/investing finds one MAYBE two trades per year and that's it. Are you telling us that you've already found ANOTHER rare trade only days after your last one? Why are you afraid to post the symbol name?? :confused:

I didn't see a reason to spend too much time reading about trading from 'scholars' or 'experts'. The powers of observation and formulation worked just fine for me. I trust my own eyes and skills over the book writing egg heads that seem to pervade the financial mkts. :)

"pretend patterns" LOL!!! You are not correct in your summation, I am just giving you SOMETHING to start from. It would be up to YOU to come up with something objective. Can't spoon feed the masses here :p

Plenty of intraday SPY and ES data available....lots of repetition in these mkts with regards to them taking out new highs/lows intraday, the speed at which these levels are taken out (or lack of speed), the distance price moves off a low or high and the PA that follows these moves (sniffing out...

You're just scratching the surface...long way to go though. :)

You're a hobby trader. I really don't see any sphere of influence. Just a guy who couldn't make it as a trader but was able to build a career following the mkts. I'm happy that you were able to find your niche :)

TA works great for some, ok for some and not at all for some. Case closed :)
