Why? I have been using RealTick for years, and don't have any reliability problems.

Get around the firewall issue by using gotomypc.com. You can access your pc at home over a web browser, and provided you have a high-speed (always on) connection at home the lag time is not much. I know people who have been doing it for years.

I found Street Smarts to be a good resource, and disagree with those who say it is not worth the money. Just like anything else, it is a tool you use to form your own methodology. I don't trade any of the set-ups in the book exactly, but I use bits and pieces of things I learned in the book...

Walter - with all due respect, you did not "fully disclose your method". All you did was post times, and would not tell anyone how you arrived at those times. So, make sure you tell the truth when you are making your posts, please.

If you are looking for a breakout, use pivot highs/lows, fibonacci, trendlines...

Interesting - I don't follow "counter-trend" Tuesday's. Can you explain? Is it every Tuesday you look for a "counter-trend"? Is this the sam concept as looking for counter-trends at certain hours during the day?
