S&P is up 30 pts in the last 6 hours the market has been open

My 2 c, it's risk taking du jour thanks to record low interest rate and above average earnings prior to the recent slow down. Stimulus hope with Ben putting on a good tease. Again, recessions are for peons. Govt and central banks putting up big no bear feeding signs at the national parks.

    Facebook Crash

I'm thinking based on other posts about FB that banks might stop support the price soon enough. How can they handle all the possible lock up shares, billions, that will be flooding the market in the months to come? FB will be competing for dollars with many, still growing, much lower priced...

    Facebook Crash

The bear trade is very crowded as evident in today's reversal. FB was ready to test the day's low but the bears were over extended so they got toasted. But there's no love for tech or social media stocks right now = no serious buyers and frequent bear raids. FB will continues to be volatile...

Whats keeping the dow above 10,000 (apart from the plunge protection team)??

I used to be very pissed when the market was being propped up many a time during the last hour. Now, I'm much more aware of when they might be pulling this crap. So I now said, thank you very much for the free gift or just quickly exit my short position. My opinion is trading price action keep...

Big down move today. What's next?

B or C is more plausible probably a combination of the two. Market want QE3 but got Twist reloaded somewhat of a let down. Europe will continue to generate headlines. For now any promises by the central bankers/politician could give the market hope. However, they don't last long as the market...

    Anyone Betting on Facebook?

Having problem staying above $32 but I would venture to guess that it will eventually pas this mark and go to $33/34. The higher it goes is probably the better because it will put huge pressure on the earning. Betting a bad earning with high price has high profit/lost ratio. If the earning beat...

    Euro Panic around the Corner....

But that would involve a transaction cost. Otherwise you can build up the dollar reserve via legislation aimed to limit the dollar outflow like Argentina is currently doing.

Record Low 30 Year Mortgage Rates!!! This is getting to be a joke.

After another crash (if the big boyz leave the market alone) price will even be better because everyone will be too broke to buy anything. Big if, but when you look at baby boomers retire (or re-retire) and ninja generation with no income and no desire to start a family, real estate will be a...

Greeks now wish to renegotiate bailout based on Spain's deal.

The mob is hungry. Hurry, more bread (food stamps) is needed pronto or they'll tear down the palace (capitol hill).

Greeks now wish to renegotiate bailout based on Spain's deal.

The the ugly head of late industrialization. You're slave of Western businesses, local elites, and money systems. Your environment is being destroyed while you're working in substandard conditions for sub-par wages. But you're still happy because it's the only real employment in town. Your sweat...

    Facebook Crash

They wouldn't let me post this on FB Yahoo Message board (d*ckhead) so I'll posted here for parody purposes. Mark this date, May 18, 2012, the day of infamy when innocent shareholders (sheeple) were being Zuckered by surprise causing untold devastation to the shareholders account. It will go...

GRPN lock up period expiration on 6/1

Thanks, but I'm still on the sideline. Might consider a "small position" if PA "act" right.

GRPN lock up period expiration on 6/1

I don't expect a big crash but a nice little dip will do just fine. It could be that most factors have been "priced in" and Friday could be just like any other days. However, recent tech stocks like LNKD and P have dipped on that very day but they eventually would rebound.

GRPN lock up period expiration on 6/1

Anybody in on this? With more than 90% (581 mill) of the shares held by insiders, Friday will be very interesting to say the least. I believe it could drop a buck if just 5-10% cashed out on Friday. I don't expect a massive exit as that would kill the price and insiders wouldn't really want...

    Greece and Gold

Greek is totally a wild card now dependent on what the EU ultimately, do they continue the loan, take a huge hair cut on the debt, or continue to enforce harsh austerity forcing the default. I think the Euro camp is very divided at this point due to the new French president which changes the...

    Herbal life HLF

Some crazy swings due to lack of Einhorn comments during the hedgies seminar on Wednesday. Up 16% on Wednesday and a few more % after hours. Than the drop from almost $52 to $44.53. Would have been a nice intraday short. I guess I missed it as I'm not trading full time and can't monitor it at...

Elizabeth Warren calls on J.P. Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon to resign

The masses is still sleeping. They will be in for a very rude awakening. The scums, many of them will probably seek asylum...in places like Brazil and Argentina along with other scums. It's gonna be one big scumbag reunion in South America lol. By then, the US of A will get their second storming...
