What is really strange is how he knocks anyone who would trade the 1-min chart in the first part of his book and yet that is exactly what he does on the open if he can't find an entry on the 5-min chart.

You didn't get what I was saying. He kept saying not to sell on the way down because there was a selling climax and buyers would be coming in. He kept saying this as the market kept going down.

I just read Al's bar by bar analysis for last Friday, the 28th of January. If I were a teacher I would give him a D for a grade. He did terrible trying to predict where the market would go. He kept saying there would be buyers all the way down. Maybe he's just not very good at massive trend down...

You can love someones book but that doesn't mean you will trade profitably after reading it.

Maybe after reading the next 3 books and 350,000 words or whatever it is Al will get his point across... Maybe it will take another SIX books. Al says it took what? Ten years for him to become profitable? Wow. Long time... And that was just to become profitable, much less making over a million...

I wonder how long it takes to make what Al said in one of his first articles. I think it was "if you can make just a point a day trading 100 contracts you can make over $1,000,000 a year". Think anyone in Al's room is making that much?

It's not like say, 1 tick (IB) for every 3 ticks (Zenfire) type of data compression is it? :confused:

If using NinjaTrader as your software, how much of the data is filtered using TT feed compared to Zenfire? I guess this would affect tick charts but what about volume charts?
