Could be, of course. But who says that all countries NEED to have the same living standard? I just read an amazing book, Sapiens. In one of the last chapters he writes about how the colonization is a black&white thing and how it contributed to the wellbeing of previously colonized countries...

And yet, if you ask the citizens of these countries, if they would like to be colonized in order to achieve a higher living standard, you will get the same reply every time im sure

But cant you do something else while waiting for trades? As in read a book, play a game, clean the appartment, cook, backtest? If I understood you correctly, your automated algo is providing signals, on which you react. A loud signal would call you to your working station, no?

The problem with colonization is that the tiny benefits do not weight out the huge negative aspects...talking for the colonized country of course. It already starts with a wrong gesture: attacking and taking over another country. Nobody wants to be ruled over.

I would not advise averaging in trading. It is a different thing when we talk about investing in stocks. If you see a stock has had a bad quarter but otherwise the investment thesis remained strong, then you can buy some more when it dips. Same applies to mutual funds, etc. But in daytrading...

I enjoy trading as well! I enjoy analyzing charts and seeing patterns form out. But I do it for may 3-4 hrs a day - if I would be glued to the screen for 14 hours I would not enjoy it anymore I believe. And yeah - losing a trade still irritates me sometimes, even if I tell myself I did...

I think stuff on the internet forums should not be taken too seriously and certainly should not influence our mood in the real life. If someone disagrees, let them.
