Hi @monoid yes, i am incorporating the profit target too. $500 daily profit target. I will allow the trade to work through to completion, which theoretically can end the day higher than that.

Yea @Redneck , I asked myself that same question after I finished posting... Why?... then I gave myself a bit of a stern talking to. Along the lines of nut up, etc. My goal today was to stick with the plan... trade the freaking plan... following the rules... do the steps the way @monoid asked...

Day #39 (Mo Step #11) - Slept well, woke up with some work stuff on my brain, which I cleared out of there before I started trading. Went into the day focused on the plan, and trading the plan. I know, its starting to sound repetitive. Stuck with trading my plan, checkmark... record the next...

Thanks JS, it was a weird thing, because the setup was ideal... went my way immediately, and then I am closing it. However, I am so focused on just trying to trade the steps for the plan... that I err on the side of conservatism. So as per @Redneck , once in a trade I will stick it out to...

Day #38 (Mo step #10) - Slept well, rested up from a great weekend. I am really noticing a difference in my mental state by not having "trading" floating around in my mind during non-trading times/study. Still have to work on setting it aside, but now if it comes up, I consciously set it...

A Question: This occurred to me this morning as I was going through my trading prep, in doing these exercises of mindfulness and awareness... and then learning to get to a neutral place... does it jeopardize in any way one's day to day feelings of love, excitement, passion, etc.?

Day # --- slept well, woke up feeling rested. Focus was on doing the correct thing. Went through pre-market routine and... Oh wait, it is Sunday! Went through the Mo steps of visualization, which was pretty easy watching the video recordings of my trading screen and me talking...

Day #37 (Mo Step #9) - Got some great rest and woke up feeling... well, neutral. Considered if I was ready to trade today, and yes, yes I was. I am getting close to my trailing max drawdown, and I did feel that old temptation to just trade big and try to get some profit up for the day. But...

Day #36 (Mo Step #8) - Slept well, and woke up feeling much better. Asked myself, if I was qualified to trade today, answer was... I believe I am, but going to give myself some time to wake up and see how I feel. Went through standard pre-market routine, and felt good... felt sharp. Night and...

Thanks @J_Smith 1) Agree with this. I will add that if the brain knows there is risk involved, then it tends to sub-consciously not know the difference between if it is real or sim. Which is why if you want to sim trade beneficially, you still need something at risk imho. 2) Agreed. I...

Yes, (and "of course!" Yuk says inside). I'm looking back now, and hindsight 20/20, and a bunch more sleep... I realize that I could have very easily put at risk the baseline discipline I have been working on since last week. That would have sucked! And all because I was run down and weary...

Day #35 (Mo step #7) - Went to sleep with some type of cold, and woke up still fighting it. Had I not been following Monoid's steps, I wouldn't have traded today... but I wanted to stay with the plan I had committed to for this week. I did struggle a bit with whether or not I was doing the...

Day #34 (Mo Step #6) - Slept well, but still getting used to the time change. About 20 mins late, but started the day off correct with the same standard routine. I did have some upsetting personal stuff happen last night with my X, but I reminded myself prior to going into trading that none of...

Yes, I had a stop 10 ticks lower than my entry. My target zone was above the 51.80 level. This was a simulated Mo Tick trade.

@Handle123 The time stop is something I only employ on the days I trade news. So might be worth while looking at this for other trades too. All though my average loss happens in about 2 minutes. Wins are about 3.5 minutes. You are correct that there should be some big huge profitable days...
