Gold may be on the verge of a major price collapse

Europe and UK is slowing down, may force sell off in the EURO, thus $USD bounces back all of massive wave of profit taking...gold will follow. If $USD pulls back, expect stocks to boom, as European rush to buy stocks with there buying power while they can. Short lived boom, I must admit.

FIDC $100k Cover at the bank

I understand that if a bank goes down, a bank can cover $100k cash via insurance for each individual account. So If my broker has $100k of my cash, I assume I am covered. But if I have $500k, and I buy $400k of stocks and bonds and I have $100k cash, an I still covered if the bank goes...

    Before you sell everything consider...

They say on CNBC that housing is 5% of the market NOW. When the market was moving up in 2004 to 2006 the power behind the market was housing and employment, basically the consumer. Housing is directly maybe 5% of the market, but the consumer is 70% of GDP and housing is 80% of consumer...

why did the market nose dive today?

...from article via link above ..."Meanwhile, valuations — at least, for U.S. stocks — are compelling. Mr. Majendie noted that the S&P 500 has a price-to-earnings ratio of just 14.7-times its prospective earnings, which is its lowest multiple in 15 years. The S&P/TSX composite index...

why did the market nose dive today?

EUR 1.50 to 1.60 easy... USD needs exports advantage from a low dollar. Oil $100 plus easy. But a recession is on the card, how can you stop the fear. Banks are tightening too much as they are loosing big. Fear is winning...

Neural Network sites - any good?

Forget NN. There is not a NN anywhere that can pick a turning point in the future. A price series is near impossible to pick a turning point from historical data and maths.

Rate Cuts Not Likely to Continue

..."Rate Cuts Not Likely to Continue By Brian Blackstone ".. ..."Not likely"... Using wording like this in not a clear signal. If fed guy said, there will be no rate cut. Then thats clear. Otherwise its just spin, to place a few judder bars in way of the USD sinking to third world...

Rate Cuts Not Likely to Continue

I agree more cuts, all the FED talk is there to stop a massive collapse. But dollar will reverse when EURO and UK cuts rates. Maybe 2 more rate cuts, not sure. As the FED does not want to dissapoint, they need to talk much stronger so that the FED FUND FUTURES doesnt price in rate cut. So...
