    If you really want to sell options, I recommend bull put spreads instead of pure naked options. The best market I would say are ES futures options, in my opinion.

    Dollar goes down ---> Exports increase. Foreigners buy dollars to pay for product ---> Dollar increases in value. Besides, if the US market does collapse with the dollar, we are taking the world with us.

    Its is all about herd mentality. People run away from large bids and asks. I have used this to my advantage, by placing large positions on the orderbook, to test the strength/weakness of the market. Institutions do it as well -- place a large bid, let the market go higher, then hammer it down.

    difference between index options and future options

    Cash-settled index options(ie. spx) might have lower commisssions, however SPAN allows for greater leverage. So you are still getting a better deal trading options on futures - in my opinion.

    Anyone know of a simulator/demo that lets you trade options on futures? I need one that will calculate margin requirements for the trade, and also being able to execute the trade in the demo. Thanks in advance! -Ted
