not sure... over the next few weeks perhaps, but when the dust settles? people r going to spend more time understanding the fine print, how any national/market asset protection schemes, lloyds insurance policy etc r going to apply in the event of intermediary/custodian bkruptcy, thats for sure...

dude - get a brain, there r thousands of people with money frozen at RCM units (incl Refco FX) and for a couple $100mios perhaps more, honestly good for you if no damage at Refco LLC but do u really think anybody cares about yr little pride?? does "waste of space" come to mind??

fwiw by pre-Oct 10 accounts, if i recall correctly RCM (incl RefcoFX) used to be the most profitable unit, 2 or 3 times more than the regulated businesses - search posts from rufus_4000, there is one on the subject... - now unfortunately thats no guarantee of anything, otherwise refco's debt wld...

thats more a question for RCM's liquidators really, or the creditors committee (their appointed lawyer milbank?) but if that can give you some comfort, RFX debt paper has now substantially recovered and is trading around 70c. ...

how r they on figures do u know? fwiw, last fri on currenex my MKT order on us gdp figures just stayed on the screen for up to 3 seconds (! yes, 3 or more!) waiting to be filled as the banks were just pretending to quote, i ended up being filled a good 15 pips below what i cld see flashing...
