just curious.... what is the turn over rate for new traders coming on this site....i mean how long does a new screen name show up before no one ever sees it again?

This is a common occurrence when one takes a trade based on a setup to a specific time frame...then zoom in on a smaller time frame to set their stop loss. (in an attempt for high R/R ratio)

I was wondering if anyone uses Market Edge website to help in their trading. Market Edge tries to time the markets with 5 waves A, B, C, D, and E.....from shortest to longest, they then come up with a formula on wether one should be long or short the mkt. They seem to have a good track record...

Cramer may make money on his calls, but that doesn't mean others following him will. Very hard to make $$ by following what others say.... mythology in the slightest variation will effect profits. Also....its all about where you get in and get off... you can go broke trading long a stock...

A few things: This is stock gapped up +.45 cents...then broke the low of the first bar within 15 minutes... and eventually went on to fill the gap. Try not to get in on stocks that gap up at the open...especially if they have been up the last several days like this one has. Its a suckers...

I agree that Cramer is a good sector analysis.... but you can go broke if you try to follow his calls as a trader, especially a short term trader. Often times he gives you a buy recommendation on a company, with no time reference, and definitely no risk / reward analysis. To me, you cant be a...

I havent't been trading for the last 8 / 10 weeks... and im not sorry i havent!! I been taking the time out for other things but also been studing new materials, will be back trading in 2 weeks or so. This mkt has been kind of tricky.... most likely i would have lost $$ had i stayed in...

Its OK to use indicators, as long as you don't give it the same weight as price and volume. EX: Price = Thanksgiving turkey Volume = Stuffing Indicators = gravy

no no no..... i just simplified it, there is more to it than that, also certain criteria and conditions have to be met. These set ups are far and between....but once in a while i do see one that warrents taking it.

I use volume... yeah, usually breakouts that occur on low volume retrace right back to their prior range, but if you look at sharp climatic moves, you will miss out on $$ if you are waiting for volume to confirm the retrace move. One of my fav psychological plays is to go long on a stock that...

I am up, up,UP..... account is in all time high:D but then again that isnt very hard considering i never really lost much in last 2 years.
