Thanks Mark- I have looked at X-trader. I'd rather add a similar "market making" function (being able to simultaneously post bids and offers and adjust those orders with a click or two) to IB's TWS.

Extreme move in bonds such as the one on Oct. 31 are rare however they do happen. Maybe because i'm from a fixed income trading backround but I have found bond futures much easier to daytrade than equities.

Trading forex- Just some observations and clarifications. Many ways one can trade forex. If you have 250K or more, you can get leverage as well as a very tight spread from the largest inter-bank forex dealer in the world. Smaller accounts should consider a firm such as Refco, leverage, tight...
