you broke-even after being down -- so what's the big deal? the question you should ask yourself is whether you would "always" get out when a trade shows $12.99 in profit and let it slide $800 against you and do nothing... hope the answer is "no". :)

yes i also noticed towards the end strengths switched from er2 to ES..it could just be "them" playing the settlement -- overall, as er2 came up towards the AM high and closed OK, i will remain with the view that there is more upside.

ok..yes it was a good short-term signal.. also NQ gave in dragging everything down..NQ seems to be bottoming .. we'll see.

agree..AM rally couldn't be sustained...if we close here, it will be rather bearish short-term...if it goes close to HOD by 3pm, we may have some short covering Friday afternoon rally..

i thought it did fill the gap..anyway, ES nicely filled the gap..to confirm my bullish view, i'd like to see a slow and steady trend up taking its time..not too fast until it hits a HOD...then anything goes.

What I would like to see now is building a base here @ 669 and slowly trend higher throughout the rest of the day...

Yes..er2 at an interesting point... It is more likely to go higher given that: - NDX broken out, and Nasdaq just made it through today, SPX above this down trend line as of today -- er2 has a lot of catching up to do - also seems there is positive sentiment i.e., bulls seem to be in...

Fridays have been good to the market lately and also next week likely be slow and also should be good for the market just before thanksgiving...and then rally the Monday after thanksgiving(happens more often than not).. why do I keep posting here...this is someone else's journal...sorry.

this rally may have legs given that er2 dropped 20 points in a dash and took out a lot of weak hands.. 667 might pose some major resistance though

what about the pit-traded Russell 2K future? does that one have volume? won't there be arbs playing between pit future and ER2 to smooth it out ?
