Hmmm.....just checked but my data only goes back to 1980. Will she bounce off support?

Duh, I'm not really sure what you're asking but I'll give it a shot. I have an account with Stockcharts.com. At night, I scroll my charts searching for something that may be at or near an actionable level. If it is, I'll take a snapshot of it and paste it to MS Paint. Then, I use the paint...

Not really at an actionable level but I sure am hoping it pops up a bit more to parallel resistance.

If you find yourself leaning to the bullish side from a longer term perspective, I suggest you start pulling some weekly / monthly charts of your favorite BIG CAPS. They will be the last to DIE. How many funds do you think own this? What do you think they'll do when it breaks support? Do you...

If you think this is in ANYTHING other than the distrubution phase, I'd love to hear your argument for thinking something so ridiculous. I'm hoping some idiot will push it up to the shoulder hights where....you guessed it....I'll pull out my ass baton and give it a few whacks. Unfortunately...

Another whale stock I've been short for a couple of weeks that's still at an actionable level. As long as it stays under $95.00 my position on it will not change......a puke to the mid $30s in the cards.

    Margo's Swing Journal

A few weeks ago someone on ET said swing trading really shouldn't be considered trading. Whatever you want to call it, this kind of chart is every swing traders dream. It's a weekly in a large H&S pattern. It may not work but it's still low risk as heck with a huge potential return. I'm already...

Another construction stock that I DON'T have a position in as of yet. Objectively, the LOW RISK trade is to short AT the upper trendline with a tight stop compared to shorting on a triangle breakdown.

Other than a handful of long term setups, there isn't much on my radar that's at an actionable level. Here is one that I'm short that I'm not entirely sure about. I'm short from Friday at $54.70. I'll blow for the loss on a strong move with volume over the upper bearish wedge line, $55.25 or so...

Faster, Your posts are great. I wish I had the time to come over and read them all. All is well here. I can't imagine why anyone would think I've been insulted. I've been busy is all. Good luck with your trading and I look forward to more of your posts.

Many of the major indices look just like this.....NDX (QQQ), SPX (SPY), BTK (BBH), SOX (SMH). All are at their respective shoulder highs and a likely spot to turn back down. IMO, it's a pretty low risk short with smaller positions & tight stops.

Matt, The only software I personally use is TC2000. Since I haven't used another service, I can't compare it to anything. However, it does everthing I need it to and I doubt the price can be beat anywhere else. People ask me regulary what type of scans I use. Other than a simple inside...

    Hotspotfx.com, a helluva trading

I just checked out this characters website and read the "back days text." I don't think I've ever laughted as hard in my life. This guy couldn't possibly have a single subscriber.

    US stock market ultra-long term

Good points. Just from a TA perspective, I've reflected back on this chart many times over the past couple of years. It's a weekly of the COMP going back to 1980. Notice where the low after 9/11 occurred.......where the most recent bounce ended.......where we're likely headed......and if we'll...

Nitro, The AMGN chart is an excellent example of the waves that normally occur following a major breakdown. First, there is the sharp selloff when key supports are violated. Second, there is profit taking by traders who are short as leading stocks near support areas. This profit taking wave...
