    Yes but identifying is the market is consolidated or trending or if the consolidation is over and about to start trending is pretty much all there is to it to trade profitable. The rest are just bonuses for calibration no?

    Thank you for taking the time. I find the 5 min too fast, too noisy. Believe it or not the chart I like the most as a daytrader is the daily chart. Maybe I'm nuts ! :) FoN

    No Doji, Do you use one timeframe or multiple ones ? The reason I ask is because when you use more than one you run into conflicting trends. Another thing is that how many days you look back on a specific timeframe could lead you to find multiple conflicting trends in one timeframe...

    The "rally" - GDP up* *estimated....badly!

    Trading fundamentals never worked for me as the market likes to screw the vast majority of people at any given time. Best thing to do is trade price. However, it's very hard to trade price and ignore fundamentals, sadly this is what must be done. FoN

    I did SPY to keep it simple because my add ons were small, 100 share increments. Like I said I had anticipated down to SPY 50 :D Naturally everytime my shares got divisible by 500 I could swap with 1 future, but I didnt do it when I had the time. FoN

    I dont think I got lucky, I know SP500 cant go to 0, so chance of blow up don't exist, at least realistically. I was gutsy, not lucky. I had anticipated a crash below 2009 lows so had planned again appropriately with my money management. Never lost a penny doing this. The problem is...
