    Anybody who went long on that Goldman call got smoked. It's possible that the Goldman analysts were saying buy oil when their prop traders were shorting it.

    My observation is that Gold almost never goes down. It's too hard to short Gold as it rises with good news and bad news. Dollar goes down, gold rises. Euro goes down, gold rises. People buy gold to protect from inflation. People buy gold to protect from deflation. Shorting gold is a losing game.

    Any of you watched Gangland? Seems that gang-infested areas brings the social ills that contribute to higher taxes. A number of cities in California suffer from gang problems.
