Different IB accounts, different deltas ?!?

I wonder if the delta you get when you press "Load my chain" is the delta of the option when you opened your position?

Different IB accounts, different deltas ?!?

You may have inadvertently checked the delta when the electronic market was still trading. If you check the delta during the weekend, it should not change between accounts.

PFG freezes accounts, CEO attempts suicide

It seemed that PFGBest was a Ponzi scheme after all. Wasendorf was intercepting the NFA bank statement requests. It was only when the NFA requested electronic verification that the scheme fell apart. See full store at...

    How Realistic? $50k account, $500 / day

This is a realistic goal if the instrument you are trading has the volatility. The most important thing is to take what the market gives you and never hold a position because you didn't hit your profit target. Always limit your loss to a small amount so your daily losses don't overwhelm you. You...

can someone give me the holy grail

If that happens, then you may not have an edge. It is much easier to overcome a small loss than a large loss. My experience has taught me to take many small profits (hit singles) instead of trying to hit a home run. Taking what the market gives me instead of what I think I can get was the...

Is it possible to use HTML for API ??

Any experienced coder can create a program that will parse your HTML file and send the proper trading commands to IB using their API. If the HTML output is fairly straight forward, then the programming task will not be that difficult.

can someone give me the holy grail

Here is the holy grail :) If the instrument you are trading does not move as you expect it, get out immediate. It is better to exit early and reenter once proven right then to hold on and pray. This was the best tip I got from reading the Phantom of the Pits by Art Simpson.

Is it possible to use HTML for API ??

The only place where NetBeans out shines Eclipse is in GUI creation. NetBeans has a very good Visual GUI editor.

    a trading problem for mathematicians

Here is my logic: A game of flipping coins. You have two coins to flip. If either coin turns up heads, you win. You flip the first coin, and its a head, you win. The second coin flip does not matter. Your first win has a 50% probability of winning. Second try, your first coin flip is a tail. You...

    a trading problem for mathematicians

For two trading methods with no correlation to each other, the probability of winning when both signals are agreed upon is 60% that's because the probability of multiple non-correlated systems is the highest probability of those systems. For 60% + 60%, you get 60%. For 100% + 50%, you get 100%...

anyone daytrade CME Globex Swiss Franc Futures?

The two currencies are highly correlated (90%+). Since I don't trade spread, I focus on the EUR instead of the CHF (EUR has better volume). Check this link to see how these pairs track intraday, daily and weekly: http://www.mataf.net/en/tools/correlation
