    Boredom in Trading

All my computers have been occupied by trading software, real-time data quotes, charting. No room for video games or my computer will lock up. :D

    Why do you daytrade?

Apart from get rich quick, I know another main reasons people daytrade is the very low risks professional daytraders manage to maintain. With good risk management, you can always close your position if the market moves against you. Some can manage to keep very low drawdown. I think only...

    Why do you daytrade?

I don't mind being exposed, as far as the risk/reward ratio favours me. Overnight trade is not as difficult as it may sound. PS: As to the vote, I feel "offers high leverage" and "get rich quick" are similar things. You want higher leverage mainly because you wish to get rich quick, unless...

    Boredom in Trading

Convincing family is a the hardest task in the planet, even after trading. :( They won't even understand what a trader is about. They always hope you could get a "decent & stable" job instead. What they understand is that market is for sharks. Whoever gets in, whoever gets slaugthered...

    Boredom in Trading

$700 nap? You haven't closed your position before you nap. What a pity! Have anyone experienced a costly wee-wee?

    Boredom in Trading

Similar situation. If the market moves like dead water, I am bored to death. :( Sometimes I find myself ZZzz... at the computer. Which thread? I would like to automate my trading too. It seems to be the most leisure and comfortable way to get some decent incomes, although I won't...

    Jesse Livermore

One thing I'm quite sure. Although he managed to come back many times, he was very weak at risk & money management. A sound trader shouldn't even run into bankruptcy. but it doesn't mean we have nothing to learn from this legendary trader. Take out his good parts, and learn from his...

    Boredom in Trading

Hi. As a manual trader, did you watch at the screen (nearly) every day, trading in and out? Have you ever felt bored when you keep doing the same things (nearly) every day? If so, how do you overcome these kinds of boredom? Thank you. :)

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

Telliing just one's speciality really hurts?! I start to feel Paul Rotter is so nice to tell us he makes a killing by scalping. He's even so nice to tell us which markets he trades. Haha... We got the ultimate secrets to trade. :D (joking) I haven't said I'm trying to learn in this...

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

Like you. Kill my curiosity. :D Just see what aspect the system specialises in to make such a killing, and how great the system performs. "$20k/day" alone can't judge well. Anyway, we couldn't expect there's any slightest chance to learn from the super auto-trader, could we? :p

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

I'm just interested to know what aspects does this system works on to win in the market so successfully. Eg: Paul Rotter scalps so well to make millions. Not sure what you mean by "you think this is how it works". ?_? Surely I'm not naive to expect anyone here would be so nice to give...

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

I'm interested to know more about its profitability side. You know, someone who earns $5m with $5m is easier than those who has $5000. And the losing streak (drawdown) may affect the strategy for capital-tight traders. What're the principles of his trading system (eg trend-follower)...

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

They don't do too bad since they still have money to trade. Some who has lost for 19 years has finally won. I deem the worst trader is the one who lose eveything and go bankruptcy - they even have no chance to come back to the market, at least in the forseeable future. That's about the...

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

I tend to disagree. What makes you feel daytraders must fail in one day? Too old to daytrade?! But that's another issue.

    Greatest Daytrader(s) in the world

The worst: -100% returns! I know traders, due to market crash, who have run in bankruptcy. No one can be worse than them. These worst guys are easier to spot than the best guy. You always don't know if it is the best even if it has 10000% returns. Someone may come with 10001% one day. :p
