How to lose or make a fortune with Fibo :)

Very funny and useful article "The comparison was SO GOOD that eventually I lost a fortune in 1988 waiting for the depression to get started! " http://www.futurestradingschool.com/gannelliott/gannell.htm

$2000 - what to look for?

With so low capital avoid trading in traditional futures market. You can try spread and options dealers (for example see the banner I have on my site) but if you are inexperimented you could lose your money as well. The base management rule is to risk less than 2% of your capital. With 2000$ you...

Will 2003 be as good as 2002?

I don't think 2003 will be a very quiet year ... projection on monthly scale http://perso.wanadoo.fr/harrytrader/market/dji/today/cours_Plan_SPOT1m.swf Volatily and time acceleration is explained by my model to tests of upper scale supports or resistance (weekly and monthly or even...

    how to answer this questions?

For daytrading yes it's rather low because you trade ALL the day long. If you make 100% on weekly scale it would not be low but on lower scale it is rather low. The lower scale you trade the more percentage you must make. here is for example the recorded results of an elliotist daytrader...

    Giving up

Even the great Jesse Livermore has suffered the ruin. The problem is to be to analyse why. Perharps as most people who lost you were undercapitalised or trades over your financial capacity : you are vulnerable emotionally in that case. I think that novices are overconfident when they begin...

    Watch out potential crash alert

the situation is still not improving in fact we are very near the critical level in spite of Dow Jones rally: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/harrytrader/crashindex_201202.gif But don't anticipate a crash as long as it is not confirmed because this market can be very vicious as you know all :)

    global futures ???

You are not obliged to trade 5 minis. It means you can put less capital and the rest secure it on fixed interest rate for example.

Does someone has hourly datas of Dow before 1929 :)

I have found a site that sell intraday datas for Dow Jones back to 1932 (unfortunately they don't have datas before 1929 it would be so interesting to see what really happenend during that periods !) but the price is high: 5000$ per year !

Does someone has hourly datas of Dow before 1929 :)

Many People say that stock market has changed that it works diffrently than yesterday. I want to see if is true because as far as I can say it works the same for my model so for me it is not true that the market has changed its behavior: it's just the proportion but from the structure point of...

Does someone has hourly datas of Dow before 1929 :)

You made a joke but in fact I have already thought about creating artificial datas and to compare with stochastic process (for example using Poisson's law to generate crash) creation to see the difference. This is my last intervention in this forum. I won't come back any more since this is a...

Does someone has hourly datas of Dow before 1929 :)

Haha :) I don't design models for the past. My model is designed once 4 years ago and HAS NO PARAMETER NO OPTIMISATION FOR ANY MARKET FOR ANY TIME PAST OR FUTURE can you imagine that this only could be possible ? :) For example you can ask me ANY INDICE OR STOCK and I can produce the prediction...
