    Hershey's Equity thread

Hmm, reminds me of the classic line from the movie Cool Hand Luke: "What we have here is a failure to communicate"

    Hershey's Equity thread

Jack, I hope you are better at stock picking than you are at gender identification. BTW, I have a mental picture of you as well.

    Hershey's Equity thread

No, the courteous, and I might add, mature thing would have been to wait for Jack to start a new thread if that is what he wanted to do. This is more like the 5 year old pulling on his parent's arm trying to lead them over to the toy section of the store.

    Hershey's Equity thread

Two observations. 1. Can't Jack start his own thread? He has to have people start them for him? 2. He needs Magna and dagabriel to feel safe? From what?

I'm a fan of Welles Wilder and his DMI. Have you given any thought to starting a thread on using the DMI?

I am selling my eSignal 1-year futures RT package at half price

What? This doesn't make sense to me. The agent wouldn't need to use Sys80's account in order to initiate a trade, he would just go out in the market and execute the trade against whomever was at the inside bid/ask. For example, if the agent thought CSCO was going higher he wouldn't need...

Upgrading from Win 98 to 2000 Pro

You may encounter software or hardware incompatibility problems going from W98 to W2K. I would download the latest W2K drivers for your video and sound cards before starting. In addition some software programs just won't run on W2K. Older versions of WordPerfect , for example, as well as...

    Hershey's stock picking methods

Yep, I knew it. Just when it was going to be put up or shut up time, Jack high tails it out of here. See ya! Jack.

    Planar LCDs... anybody use 'em??

Just bought a Planar PX191. Very nice. Actually had to turn down the brightness. This unit swivels, pivots and has vertical height adjustment. Seems to look just as good on an analog card as a digital one. Bought mine on Ebay.

    Selling Blood?

Well let's see if you have any valuable body parts. The brain is obviously worthless or you wouldn't be needing money right? The heart is too damaged over the stress your brain put it through day trading. The liver and kidney's are probably damaged from the liquor you drank to drown your...

    ES daily calls results

Dbanks a/k/a Davidba in #indexfutures chatroom was apparently permanently banned from there due to the moderator's determination that Davidba misrepresented his intention not to sell his services to anyone. From what little I've seen I thought he made some good calls, that had some lesser...

    Samsung 191T

I don't know important it is but the contrast ratio on the 17" is 350:1, whereas the 19" is 500:1

Did you see where newcom's return policy for dead pixels is 8 or more dead pixels. Seems excessive. Planar brand LCD's have a 3 or more dead pixel return policy. They are also highly rated by CNET. FWIW

What brokers worked during power outage?

FFasttrade was up the entire time. I believe they are in Chicago. Where are IB's servers located?

I agree that finding a methodology that works is key. I might also suggest that you try one of the real-time simulators that some of the brokerages have. I think Interactive Brokers has one as does FFasttrade. However, with FFasttrade you can trade index futures and such, but not stocks. The...
