    Storage Capacity at Cushing?

Anyone know what the current total storage capacity is at Cushing? I understand that in the last few years it has increased quite a bit. Also how to find out the current capacity? That it how full is it at the moment? 75%? 50%? 99%? Obviously in 2008 when WTI peaked at $147, it must...

    Historical Data Copyright?

Thanks for the info. Most useful. 20TB for one symbol? Are you sure? Do you store the data on RAID? How is that possible? If they can't see the tick data themselves then the only way would be for them to submit their strategy to you. I can see that happening ???

    Historical Data Copyright?

Suppose I build a database of tick data for many financial instruments, which over time becomes quite considerable and also frankly quite valuable. Of course I can use that data for my own purposes, but can I SELL it to others? Who owns a copyright (if any at all!) of that data? Thanks.

    Convertible Bond Trading?

Is it really that hard to trade convertible bonds then? For an induvidual with limited funds that is. Well the yield is 2.95% which is less than the T-Bonds for that maturity by about 1%. However there is a call option thrown in for free, so that sweetens the deal :D By the way, you...

    Convertible Bond Trading?

I just found this article on the web which says:- "For example, Intel, the computer chip giant, issued a convertible bond in December 2005 that pays 2.95% a year until December 2035. Then, as now, a 2.95% rate wasn't too enticing. T-bonds yielded more. But this Intel bond can be converted...

    Convertible Bond Trading?

Corporate bonds can be bought by anyone, so why are convertible bonds any different? I don't mean to be rude but I think you are mistaken. Yes it is OTC because there is no exchange for bonds. But I am taking about bonds that companies like Intel and IBM issue every few years. However the...

    Convertible Bond Trading?

From what I have read, it seems that convertible bonds are just plain corporate bonds which pay interest but with built-in long term options. Is this correct? How can I buy and sell these? Are they as easy to buy/sell as options? Can you get them for all big corporations? Like Intel or...

    How to trade Currency Options?

You mean that one day the implied volatility is like 5% and a few days later it shoots up to 20%? Is that what you mean by "Vol of Vol"

    How to trade Currency Options?

OK so you mean that currencies by nature are less volatile so you get lower implied volatilies, i.e. lower premiums. Right?
