My husband leased a Volt yesterday. He is not allowed to take delivery until the dealer can get a replacement vehicle in the showroom (three weeks at least). Demand outstrips supply here in Canada, he had to watch deliveries on the internet and show up on the dealer's doorstep with chequebook...
+6392.18 for the week. The results are fine but I have not yet conquered my demons. The attached picture is just my account balance, I couldnât get an Activity Statement out of IB that included Fridayâs trades for some reason. I will be withdrawing $30k next week.
If you don't mind, I'd rather not go into details at this time. Perhaps when I have regained some confidence. It will be a big enough step for me to publicly post my p&l each week.
I acted recklessly this week and my account suffered immensely:
-$43,231
I will be posting here weekly until I either get my act together or walk away from trading.
CME Group Inc. (CME) cut the amount of collateral traders must put up to trade its main natural-gas contract Friday, as prices continue to slide to multi-year lows.
Speculators now must put up an initial margin of $2,835 to trade a contract for natural-gas futures on the New York Mercantile...

Thank you Frank. I appreciate well meaning advice such as this. Yes, I have noticed that when price seems to ignore fundamentals I need to pay attention. I hung in there with this trade in the hopes that it was exhaustion selling. I may be proven wrong momentarily. :(
I completely agree...
Phooey. Natural gas withdrawal (95bcf) WAS above consensus (86 to 90bcf), yet we spiked down, and built yet another bearish flag. I have my stop in just below lod.
I'm in too, though I don't plan to hold till $3.54. Once again I am using HNU.TO. Bought 5000 at 5.75 first thing this morning. I am hopeful that inventory withdrawal will surprise to the upside. And we finally get a little colder next week.

I was interested in nat gas at much higher levels and but am much less interested now. Yes, we may bounce soon, but the chart and fundamentals suggest that we will be staying at low prices for a long time. Better to look for stocks that will benefit from these low prices.
I am also...
